Report: Combating Mental Health Issues on Campus

Mental health is a multifaceted issue faced by Higher-Ed campuses across North America: 73% of students experience a mental crisis while in college. This is problematic for institutions, considering student's mental health significantly impacts attrition rate. Mental health crises often can during high stress and exam periods, often during non-work hours or late at night. See concrete examples of how a closed social feed can be used to impact students' lives when they need help the most. In this paper, you'll find examples of how:

1. Peers were able to provide support to classmates, friends and students in the community.

2. Lindsey Wilson College faculty were able to connect, interact and engage directly with students

3. How Seattle University, Texas A&M and others created a virtual community that extended beyond the walls of their campus.
