Bridgewater State University is excited to announce the launch of its new BSU Mobile App, developed in partnership with Ready Education. The new app brings the BSU campus to students’ fingertips by enabling them to stay on track with reminders, events, and schedules on a personalized home screen. They can also get notified of important dates, deadlines and announcements, and connect with the BSU community through its BSU Campus Wall.
BSU students immediately took to their new mobile app with over 36% student adoption in the first week alone! The new social features of the app also proved extremely popular, with 2,300+ social interactions taking place in that period.
Steve Zuromski, Interim Vice President of Information Technology & CIO, hailed the impact of the app on student engagement: “Upon the launch of the new mobile app, we received very positive feedback from our students. The app is very student-centered, visually appealing, easy to use, and has resulted in increased student engagement.”
The new BSU Mobile App improves on its predecessor by combining the inside and outside-of-classroom experience, bringing all aspects of student life onto a single, personalized platform. Along with accessing resources, receiving important course announcements and setting reminders for upcoming deadlines, students can now also connect with their peers and the BSU campus community.
“The implementation process for the new Ready Education mobile application has been very smooth, mainly due to Ready's Customer Success team. They have taken the time to fully understand our business model, anticipate how we may benefit from the additional features and provide just the right amount of training and assistance needed to get us through the implementation and go-live.”
